Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Parents are given the privilege of training children. But how do you do that? Are there helps that can give direction? What does the Scripture teach about raising a child? Can we spank? When they get older - what about movies? Dating? HELP!
The following are great resources to help get you started and places you can ask specific questions. Parenting Motherwise – www.motherwise.org Fatherwise – www.fatherwise.org Movie Screening (This is a great sight to go and research movies before deciding whether or not they are appropriate for your children. You can also use this to talk through with your children whether a particular movie is one they would want to watch.) You Screen It – www.screenit.com Internet Accountability Covenant Eyes monitors Internet use and reports to your Accountability Partners (at no charge to them).
