About the Men’s Ministry

Making authentic disciples of all men is the mission of our Men’s Ministry. And we spend ourselves pursuing Jesus seeking to know how to live as men who follow after Jesus. There is a war in our culture against men being men. There are huge misconceptions in the church regarding men who follow Jesus Christ. We seek to be authentic disciples of Jesus according to Jesus. Come on and join us!

Sunday Bible Study information

Men’s Bible study class meets every Sunday morning at 9:00 in room 3213. Join us as we seek Jesus through His word for our lives as men.

Regular Events

Men’s Breakfast

We get together the first Saturday of every month from 8:00-10:00 for food, hanging out with each other, and working on the church. We will either spend good time in prayer together or hear from a brother in the Lord. We hear testimonies from other men about what it is like for them to follow Jesus. After breakfast, we spend an hour or so doing various projects around the church.

Golf Tournament

Once a year we have a Friday afternoon golf tournament at Pecan Grove Country Club. It does not matter how terrible you are, you will fit in. We play best ball. Maybe one time your team will use your putt!!! This is a really good time to laugh and hang out with the guys.

Men’s Retreat

  • Annual Retreat to a retreat center or conference
  • Want to hear from the Lord for ourselves, family, ministry, and career
  • Enjoy the fellowship of brothers
  • Refreshing
  • Strengthening
  • Listen for announcements and join us

Core Groups

These are coming. This is 3-5 guys meeting together once a week to help each other grow in the Lord Jesus Christ. There are no deeper, stronger relationships than those you have with the men you share your life with. You can meet any time - 6:00 in the morning or 8:00 at night.
